Well, I’ve accomplished much more than I had planned to before the little guy comes. The “To Do” list is slowly winding down. He’s got a cozy little bed to come home to, Christmas decorations, and a very excited family!
Everyone has been such a big help. First, Hannah came over and helped me get my house in “manageable” order about a month and a half ago. Since then we’ve been able to keep up with it! I say WE because David and my mom have been so helpful with the dishes and all my “nesting” urges :). Even Evelyn has been helpful…check out her video!
Below are some pictures of Elijah’s room aka his corner in our room. I think it will be just perfect for the next few months! Then we can work on getting his real room in order.
Here are some pictures of our Christmas decor this year. I went pretty simple, getting my ideas from Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray. Tonight we will work on the tree! Then all our Christmas decorating will be mostly done! I’ve even wrapped most of the gifts! Stay tuned for pictures :-)
On another note, we’ve also incorporated a little advent calendar and reading into our nightly routine with Evelyn. It has been so great to turn our attention to Christ this year! I will post more on that a little later :)
